I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind...

I've been thinking of closing my site.  Yeah, go ahead, be shocked and mob me...

...There exists a certain land; near but distant.  It exists before the eyes of many, yet its location few have found.  Where did this land come from?  It was created like all others.  This land is a rather empty one.  It lives and grows on its own.  It has no distinguishing marks of beauty and appears just as ordinary as any other place.  Yet, for those who look, it has mystery and depth that you would not find elsewhere. Only a handful have been able to better understand this mysteriousness, or get a glimpse into the depth it posesses-- not even the land itself knows these things fully--but those who have looked deeper have gained something they could get nowhere else.  It touches many, but few realize it.  Many could know it, but not many are those who do.  So on it goes and still shall remain.  And maybe one day others will discover it, and  it will grow into something more...

My friends, I give you  ...   Mlaerdrazileht.

Quotes:

Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Psalm 96:9

"A man who has been in another world does not come back unchanged." ~ C. S. Lewis

"For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver." ~ Martin Luther

"If it can be verified, we don't need faith... Faith is for that which lies on the other side of reason.  Faith is what makes life bearable, with all its tragedies and ambiguities and sudden, startling joys." ~ Madeleine L'Engle

Something tragic happened today... my poor keyboard was brutally mutilated by an evil book that jumped from my grasp and landed heavily upon my beloved question mark key.  The poor thing was knocked from it's place...it and the plastic do-hickeys (and no I don't know how to spell such a word, if it's wrong consider that my version of it) under it.  In vain I tried for quite a long time to put the pieces back together and in their proper places, but, alas, it proved too hard a task no matter how lovingly and gently I tried. *sob*

Oh well...good thing Nathan was able to fix it.

Ah the joys of talking to someone special late into the night...only to go to bed and wake up (if not get up) before 6.  All I can say is....it was worth it.

Only one quote for tonight...consider yourselves lucky to get it. Originally there was going to be none :

*sounds like a cross between a moan and a snore* "Mmmmmmmmmhhhmmmmmmhhhhhmmmmmmmmmhhhhhmmm" ~ my brother....the sound he just made while sleeping overhead.   No joke, it's hilarious to listen to him sleep....he does that all the time.
